In 2024, I return as a Visiting Professor to the Università degli Studi di Cagliari to introduce a new cohort of first-year students to crafting comics to tell urban stories. What portraits will emerge? Who will love the task? Who will resist the idea of writing about cities differently? Not everyone is comfortable trying out new languages, but it is always worth trying to make new voices emerge.
