Nell’ambito del programma Visiting Professor/Scientist 2022-2023 e 2023-2024, finanziato dalla LR 7/2007 della Regione Autonoma della Sardegna, Professore Juliet Fall, Département de géographie et environnement, Université de Genève, terrà un ciclo di lezioni per il corso di Geografia (Laurea triennale in Lettere).

This morning, as part of my stay as a Visiting Professor at the Università degli Studi di Cagliari, we slowly started thinking together about how to assemble and create a visual urban mosaic. I discussed how the language of comics can be used to write about people and places, how we can use visual language to make sense of our world. Like any mosaic, constructing it involves collecting small pieces, choosing them carefully, cutting up and assembling them carefully. Like slowly building a scrapbook, from discarded bus tickets, postcards and sketches. This morning, we set out on this experimental journey together.
